Shropshire Council Parenting Team

The Shropshire Council Parenting Team for families works alongside parents and carers to help build confidence, strengthen routines, and support children as they grow and learn. Their team provides practical, friendly guidance and signposting to help you find the right support for your child and your family.

Parenting can be challenging at any stage, whether you are managing everyday behaviour, supporting learning at home, dealing with worries, or looking for strategies that work in real life. We can offer advice on positive parenting approaches, communication, boundaries, and age-appropriate expectations, with an emphasis on what helps children feel safe, understood, and able to thrive.
